Growing-up educators told me that I wouldn’t amount to much, that I am an average achiever and should accept my fate. I learned extremely hard and tried my absolute best, but I still did not achieve much success.
I refused to believe that I am anything but extraordinary!
At the age of 16, I was diagnosed with dyslexia. For the first time, I understood the challenges I experienced were real, and I can now address them.
Around the same time, my parents enrolled me in the Biolink program, and I learned to manage and improve my cognitive skills. Because of Biolink and the support given to me, I knew I wanted to help other children. Currently, I am in my final year of getting a degree in teaching.
God works in mysterious ways
I started working at Biolink Bloemfontein as an executive function coach. The opportunity to become to owner cross my path and I knew this is where I can make a difference.
Because I understand the challenges children face and have a burning desire to help and make a difference, I believe this is where my path has led.
Making a difference in a child’s life by improving the way they think, process, and develop is what matters most.
